I think there’s more evidence there of Jones struggling against fighters who are as tall as him and don’t have to cover the massive amounts of distance that the likes of Rampage, DC, Evans, etc. had to get to him. Plus, Reyes did a great job at being a mobile fighter which makes it much harder for Jones to set up his favorite oblique and kicks to the thigh. The cherry on top Jones is great at a lot of things, but a boxer is not one of them. Reyes got to a fast start and really lit up Jones with his superior hands in the first 3 rounds.

i’d actually like to get that old fart Crawford on a short contract. he’s facing nearly 3 xGA/60 and has something like a GSAx of +6. Jones and Dell face nearly identical xGA/60 (so the team plays the same in front of both) and yet Jones has a -17 GSAx and Dell is +1-something. yeah, Jones sux.
