Finding Free Agents: Bryan Bulaga would be a strong stopgap solution at right tackle
But I find the ease with which Jones gets dismissed weird when juxtaposed with this faith in Ifedi. If anything, Jones looked better in his few starts than Ifedi did in 2016. I’m f100% on board with saying Jones will find it harder than others who are more athletic, but that still doesnt even make him the first guy to do it, let alone a guarantee of the fact he can’t the way he’s being written off after a few fairly promising starts(and one howler).
Jon Jones rips Dominick Reyes for ‘delusional’ comments ahead of UFC 247
Like outside the cage or inside? I just ask because I find Jones very interesting to watch. Maybe I just like the chess match of figuring out your opponent and forcing your will as the fight goes on. I even enjoyed the last fight with Smith, he shut Smith down so hard,he didn’t even know what to say after the fight. Jones is a master of figuring people out and besting them.
Jon Jones tweets, deletes UFC 247 ‘robbery’ rant: Reyes wasn’t ‘finishing the fight like a man’
Nobody is looking at all the leg kicks Jones lands and is doing damage slowing Reyes down and there was a lot of leg kicks in round 3,so it is possible he got rounds 3,4 and 5. Reyes has not learn’t from Gus’s first fight with Jones, he also did not have what it takes in the championship rounds.
UFC 247’s Jon Jones: ‘I don’t train to poke people in the eyes’
He uses his fingers offensively AND defensively. No one is gonna try to close the distance when he ALWAYS has his arm stretched out with fingers reaching for their face. He does it EVERY time yet, even after warnings, continues to do it and THEN never gets punished for it. It’s a technique he has purposely worked on to maintain his advantage. This is one of the many reasons I can’t stand him and will not recognize him as the "great" MMA fighter that he is. If point deductions are at the discretion of the ref, I would hope the ref would take a point after a warning and pawing at the face. That’s enough to set a precedence and before an eye poke occurs.
