many fans and fighters call Jones the GOAT..if the cheating was disqualifying they wouldn’t say that period….

not sure who else would fit, AJ Green, Julio Jones, OBJ (and I have my doubts about him), Tyreek, M. Thomas, Evans, list is pretty small.

But really, I think the amount of disrespect Jones is having around the league is enormous.
When media are talking about "the best WR" I always hear about OBJ, Brown, Hopkins or even Thielen. But nobody is talking about Julio Jones anymore

That’s big. Not only can he work on his cardio, but he should also know how to pace himself more in a championship fight.

I doubt Reyes gets an immediate rematch. Given how the last fight went and how Reyes is a lot earlier in his career than Jones, I think Jones and the UFC look for a money fight instead of a super high risk title defense.

In the same sentence. Am I completely missing something, and if so correct me. Armstead played EDGE, he competed against TJ Watt, Cam Jordan, et al. BUCKNER PLAYED DT, he competes with the Donald’s, Jarrets, et al.

Why the a F have I seen 10 people say they snubbed Armstead puttimg Buckner in? I suppose they snubbed Garrapolo because Julio Jones got in at receiver, and Jimmy G had almost 4000 yards. DIFFERENT F’N POSITIONS PEOPLE

which actually probably means he’s better then Julio Jones, cuz Hopkins certainly is.

yeah agree on this. admittedly i’m a bit odd here but i thought the only round in dispute was the 4th. 1-3 Reyes, 5th Jones. the 4th could have gone either way. Jones landed more strikes but Reyes the more significant ones. I just hope Reyes gets increasingly vocal about the fact he won and hopefully a rematch will get booked.

If it does though I see one of two things happening: 1. Reyes will not ease up in the championship rounds and will win a comfortable decision. 2. Jones realising he’s fighting a better man will blow up on "picos", he’ll KO Reyes, all media outlets will be saying ‘The old Jones is back’ and then he’ll promptly fail a post fight drugs test and the fight will be ruled a no-contest. At the moment i’m leaning towards option 2….
