Most of them want Gussy gone, some even hoping for a loss to help that. Others can’t pull for a barn loss but will take it if it helps the cause. Hopefully we win and they still can’t pony up the money to fire him, the 2017 win got them in this predicament.

Chris Jones is everything that Fangio needs. He fits the Defense, I didn’t understand why you would think otherwise. He’s more than a penetrator, he sets the edge vs the run and the ability to beat double teams is there. DJ Reader is a NT who is limited in length, don’t see where he is a better option than Jones.

Denver needs to upgrade CB, this unit struggled to keep the plays in Front of them. Each Denver CB had a passer rating when targeted over 92, that is not good and I just don’t understand why fans are so comfortable with that. Snapple fact, Bolles performance as an OT was far more consistent than what Denver got out of their CBs.

Draft an offensive lineman early. If you could hit on a lineman and have that guy able to compete for a guard spot in 2020 and take over at left tackle in 2021, you’d unlock a ton of cap space. We could go ahead and move on from LDT this year and we’d probably be able to decide against the last year of Fisher’s contract in 2021. Yes, you’d still have to say goodbye to a long time Chief. But investing the money in Jones mid 20s over Fisher’s early 30s would probably be the right decision. If Jones signs a new deal, it probably will be a typical Veach deal that has a low first year cap number that then balloons in year two.

After 2020, Alex Okafor is probably not playing for his 2021 cap number. Two years into the deal would be an ideal time to restructure Clark. At that point we probably should have an idea how long Travis Kelce wants to keep playing and can probably structure a deal that keeps him in KC year to year.

Reyes won that fight, rounds 1-3 were his, close fight, but Jones should give him a rematch

so thats good. Knox is so behind all of these guys who played its like hes in a different league.

But I also don’t understand the desire for Jones. Re-sign Clowney, fill out the rotation around him with edge rushers and enable yourself to reduce inside Clowney inside on passing downs, and you have an interior rusher who’s better than Jones.
