Morning Report: Jon Jones defends his controversial win over Dominick Reyes as UFC 247: ‘Don’t be mad at the judges, be mad at Dom’s conditioning guy’
I think Izzy needs to shit or get off the pot. All this Jones trash talk but then he says he won’t fight him for a year or 2. Well then he should just stop focusing on Jones and talk shit about the guys in his own division.
Arrowheadlines: Three round mock draft has the Chiefs going LB, DL and RB
I’d like to keep Watkins if it’s a choice between Jones or him, especially if we get trade value for Jones. The offense is what will keep us elite. Get a corner, a will linebacker, and an edge. Keep the offense as is for another year.
Buffalo Bills Mock Draft Monday—The Laviska Shenault Jr. Edition
By your definition. The only ‘true’ #1 in this draft class is CeeDee Lamb. He checks all those boxes but he will also be a top 12 pick.
But in the modern NFL, there are very few Julio Jones or AJ Green’s. True #1’s can be odd and found in different places—- look at someone like Tyreke Hill. He wouldn’t check the boxes a true #1— but he is.
Devonta Adams and Michael Thomas are not the fastest players (why both were 2nd round picks), but they are true #1’s.
We want a play-making receiver that pushes a defenses and can take any play to the end zone. So yes, in terms of a play-maker that will benefit Allen, Sheanult is a slam dunk.
Texas commission ‘applauds passion everyone is exhibiting’ on UFC 247 judging controversies
Jones was not just standing, he was dominating the rounds way more than some that Dominic won.
Obviously the fight would play out way differently if there was no time limits, and nobody wants to go back to 90 minutes fight where both fighters are just exhausted and touching each other..
But if you can barely defend yourself and the round / fight ends (saved by the bell), that should be on the balance about how one judges a fight.
