UFC Fight Night 167 results: Jan Blachowicz obliterates Corey Anderson with perfect right hand
judges awarded Santos a split decision as where Reyes got screwed and Jones was awarded a clean sweep.
I dont like it anymore than you do but its on paper now so we have to move on. if Gus or Santos didnt get an immediate rematch neither should Reyes. let someone try who hasnt had a chance yet. Jan is the rightful contender for Jones next fight.
Kyler Murray robs Josh Jacobs of Offensive Rookie of the Year award
If they don’t stop SF from scoring again in that 4th qt.,.they don’t win…I give you that
Mahomes was harried and pressed all game by that SF line and was far from his best…even late in the 4th qt when they put up 21. But I’ve always thought (and it was actually Stabler who showed me this) that when a QB can lift his team and somehow get the job done despite not playing particularly well, that that’s the mark of a winner
That opinion aside, I’ll add this…SF boasted one of the best defenses in the league and they all but throttled the KC offense for the whole game, yet KC still managed 31 points. What happens to lessed defenses when KC fires on all cylinders? Scary, my friend…scary. And we have that to look forward to for years to come
Despite his horrible play Herbie and Chris Fowler kept pumping him as the likely first QB off the board, or at worst second behind Burrow. Touting him as a Heisman candidate. Even though he kept making poor decisions, and threw some horrible interceptions. They were making excuses for his poor play the first three quarters.
Recap: Hybrids drive offense in Panthers 5-3 win over Devils
I was just listening to an interview with Keith Jones on XM NHL radio. With the injury to Seth Jones, he said that without a doubt CBJ will not make the playoffs.
Where the Chiefs’ roster stands as the offseason begins
I hate hearing "we need to trade [insert name here]" every year after they’ve had a good year. Jones is a major part of the core of this defense. I would like to see most of the D-Line stay intact, minus Suggs who needs to retire. With that said, Jones is the only one I would break the bank on to keep. I like Ogbah and Pennel. Xavier Williams is ok but if he isn’t brought back, it’s not really a big loss.
Players I’d keep:
- DT Chris Jones
- DE Ogbah (at the right price)
- DT Pennel
- LB Ragland (at the right price)
- CB Breeland
- FB Sherman (at the right price, but not likely)
- TE Bell (at least for camp and preseason)
- QB Moore (I think he’s a better option than Henne)
- WR Robinson (only at the right price)
Cut or Trade Watkins unless he takes a massive pay cut (enough to free up the 14 mil that we gain from trading/cutting him)
Cut Damian Wilson, he did OK but he’s not worth the near 4 mil cap number
Opt out of the contract for Erving
The only ones I’m not too sure on is Damian Williams and Sorensen. Yes Williams was great in the playoffs but calling him inconsistent during the season is being generous. He’s actually kind of reminding me of James White right now. A guy you don’t hear much of throughout the season but hear constantly in the playoffs, and White isn’t even considered a starter. As far as Sorensen goes, the guy stepped up in the latter part of the year but I’m not sure he’s worth the 4 mil cap number
