UFC Rio Rancho’s Jan Blachowicz: ‘I’d be the first person to stop’ Jon Jones
Santos probably could, but after the injuries who knows how he’ll look. I don’t really see Reyes winning a rematch honestly. I think he won against Jones, but by the bare minimum. I think Jones gameplans much better the second time around.
Dominick Reyes responds to Jon Jones’ can crusher comments: ‘He’s just not a good person’
But he does realize that he has also been critical of Jones as a fighter and person. They both are talking smack to each other and neither of them truly knows the other. It’s like how Izzy started his beef with Jones and then gets all butthurt any time Jones says something about him. If you don’t want Jones taking trash about you then keep your mouth shut about him. Jones has proven in the past that he can be respectful to those that are respectful to him. He did it with Anthony Smith and although he never fought Rumble they were always respectful of each other.
On a side note, as a huge Jones fan I really have this weird feeling that Reyes might catch Jones this fight. The smart money is still on Jones, but I just have this feeling…
UFC Rio Rancho’s Jan Blachowicz: ‘I’d be the first person to stop’ Jon Jones
The up and coming LHW fighters are gonna catch Jones fairly soon. He’s looked beatable (was beaten imo) in his last fights. If it’s not Jan, it could possibly be Corey or whoever else comes up. I think within 3 fights, Jones gets beat.
Cowboys news: Mock draft roundup; Byron Jones to the Eagles?
Teams like Denver and Miami both have waaaaaay more cap space and just as much need for a quality corner if not more than the Eagles do. They’ll be willing to pony up a lot more dough I think than Philly will have the capability to. Actually a lot of teams have more cap space than the Eagles that either need or could have a good use for a corner like Jones as the Eagles have the 20th most cap space right now ($42M) heading into next season.
1. MIA – $94M
2. IND – $85M
3. TB – $85M
7. NYG – $61M
8. Sea – $60M
9. DEN – $58M
10. NYJ – $56M
11. WAS – $54M
13. LV – $52M
14. ARI – $52M
15. CLE – $50M
17. CIN – $48M
18. DET – $45M
19. NE – $44M
That’ll be quite the bidding ware for Jones and I don’t think the Eagles will be able to match. Especially in the market of attracting him as a division rival since the Giants and Redskins have significantly more cap space to work with. Washington just released Norman and the Giants hired the coach that drafted him, albeit he is on the offensive side up there. It isn’t likely he ends up in Philly unless it isn’t for money and they can bamboozle him into thinking they can actually go somewhere. There are much better places for him to end up financially, for need, team talent and for potential vengeance against the Cowboys. The Eagles don’t top any of those lists.
Bashaud Breeland wants to “get what he deserves” from the NFL
Fuller was so good in a safety role late in the year and the playoffs, he could potentially get $10m/yr from someone to be a starting safety. If we keep Jones, they’re both almost certainly gone, but they could still be gone even if we don’t keep Jones.
Chiefs trade up for Patrick Queen in Dan Kadar’s latest mock
If he’s seeking 17M a year, i say extend him.
If he’s seeking 20M & teams are offering like a 2nd round pick, i say play hard ball & make him play on the tag & try to win one more superbowl with him
