NFL.com projects some landing spots for Amari Cooper besides the Cowboys
The one and only blemish on Cooper is his struggle to avoid dings that lower his production. Otherwise, he has elite skills/production when healthy, is an ideal fit for this offense and QB, and is a model citizen. Some have confused how Cooper looks when pushing through injuries as a lack of effort, but it is (only) what it is.
That’s a real red flag, but it isn’t a new one: it was smack dab on the table when the trade to Dallas happened, and it was still present during the offseason. If Cooper didn’t have the dings, he would be a monster and Dallas would never have gotten him in the first place. But on the plus side, it has held back his production enough that he can’t really justify being paid Julio Jones money, and if he is paid within reason (very well, but within reason) Dallas would have built in some down injury periods. Should Cooper manage to temper those, he would be a pretty good value, and if somehow he were to finally get over the injuries (as has happened with a number of NFL players, e.g. "fragile" Fred Taylor, Frank Gore, and so on) he would be an outright bargain.
Jumbo Package: Crimson Tide sees several injured players return to practice
Agreeing with TiTs. I believe Sark needs five years full time in the Saban drunk coach rehab clinic. The one season as analyst doesn’t count.
If Sark can go five years under Saban without going back to "day drankin" he should get another chance at a Head coaching job.
Tom Herman and Todd Orlando appear to be two of the most arrogant coaches in CFB. Also have accomplished nothing to be arrogant about. I mean Mack Brown was winning seven games a season. I think UGA just lost to them to "Mess with Texas" head. Tejas sure came back in a big way after that "program defining" win.
Jon Jones explains how Daniel Cormier has become an inspiration for his own career
I mean, he’s done some dumb shit, the running from police / hit & run being high on the list! The reality of the situation though is that a lot of the things that people get so upset about, the pico gram shit and the positive test for coke, really shouldn’t matter all that much. The presence of long term metabolites without short and mid term metabolites, is now a phenomenon we have seen in other fighters like seam omally and is Generally accepted by experts as virtually impossible to happen if the ingestion of the parent compound wasn’t very old and not from re ingesting the drug, another words his story checks out. The coke, while obviously not a merit badge, isn’t really our business. At the end of the day, i do not consider UFC fighters responsible or obligated to be role models for my kids! Thats my job, so as long as he doesn’t actively support a dictator that advocates killing and persecuting gays and other innocent members of there society… there all clear for me to cheer! Mostly im looking for my favorite fighters to be genuine bad assess when locked in a cage. Jon fits that bill well enough for me!
