Josh Jones is interesting, Ive seen him go late 1st sometimes in mocks, and sometimes I see him go after us.

If we had draft flexibility, then Kinlaw could be the BPA at this time. If Jones continues to perform well at the combine and pro day, then Jones would be worthy of pick #25, fill a need, and thus starting him at LG perhaps. But we don’t need to reach at OT, so the jury is still out for Jones at #25. Kinlaw had a good senior bowl too, so I would say he is in a similar situation to Jones, the jury is still out.

But after the first round, the talent at OL (especially OT) drops substantially, possibly more than DT! The first pick also somewhat determines the second pick, so going OT/DT seems to have more favorable mock draft results (at this time) than going DT/OL… Unfortunately the Vikings pressing needs were determined by previous drafts.
