Rams vs 49ers Week 18: Game thread for first half

This isn’t a must win game for either team.

The Los Angeles Rams (9-7) travel to take the San Francisco 49ers (12-4) in Week 18 of the NFL season at 4:25pm ET. This is a win and get in scenario for both teams. Just kidding! Each team is locked up in the playoffs, so both fan bases and franchises can rest a little easier knowing they are guarenteed at least one more game after this one. The 49ers have the #1 NFC seed locked up and they will be resting some of their starters like Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and a few other notable players. The Rams have a couple variables on where they’ll end up for the Wild Card Round, but for the most part LA knows what’s in store for them. They are resting key players like Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald and more.

Here’s our how to watch guide and some prop bets for your consideration.

This game should feature Carson Wentz vs Sam Darnold at quarterback and that could be really interesting. All eyes will be on Puca Nakua who is in play to break both the rookie receptions and yardage total records. As always there’s plenty of reasons to watch this game even if both teams already have locked up a playoff spot.
