Merry Christmas! The Detroit Lions win over the Minesota Vikings seemingly helps the Los Angeles Rams chances at making the playoffs. The other piece of that information is that Detroit’s win may also be setting up an epic matchup between the Lions and Rams. We can wait and see if that happens, but there’s plenty of reasons to get excited about a showdown between LA and Deteroit. Do you have any thoughts on a Matthew Stafford vs Jared Goff game? Do you have any opinions on Sean McVay vs. Dan Campbell?

Please comment on whatever you’d like! Happy holidays! Merry Christmas!

Detroit Lions closer to epic Matthew Stafford-Rams meeting in NFL playoffs at Ford Field (freep.com)

“The Detroit Lions just won their first division title in 30 years, ending their postseason drought at six consecutive seasons.

Sunday’s epic 30-24 stymie of the injury riddled Minnesota Vikings means the first-ever playoff game at Ford Field, and it could very well come against a familiar face: Hello, Matthew Stafford?!

That’s right, the Los Angeles Rams (8-7) have a hold on the No. 6 seed in the NFC with two weeks remaining in the regular season, while the Lions (11-4) are currently most likely to finish as the No. 3 seed.

The Rams were labeled as the least likely team the Lions should want to face by Free Press Lions beat writer Dave Birkett.”

5 under-the-radar key factors to LA Rams TNF win in Week 16 (ramblinfan)

“While it seems obvious, the LA Rams entered Week 16 with a net turnover of (-2), while the New Orleans Saints arrived with a net turnover of (+5). Securing the football is something that every NFL team understands as very important to accomplish, and yet each week the team that seems to win the turnover battle seems to win the game.

For the LA Rams in Week 16, the Rams converted a Jordan Fuller interception of Saints quarterback Derek Carr into a touchdown. That was the only turnover of the game and changed the entire complexion of the game.

So how have the Ramve handled turnovers since their Week 10 BYE?”
