With the Rams hosting the Browns in a playoff atmosphere at SoFi Stadium, which Week 13 Sunday game are you most looking forward to watching?
Like all NFL fans this weekend, I’m especially excited to be petty AF and actively root against a hated foe. The San Francisco 49ers will not be shown any “brotherly love” as they play what should be a bitter NFC Championship rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles. Hey Niners, be sure to load up on your quarterbacks!
The Whiners have won three straight since their bye week and are coming off 31-13 win over the Seahawks on Thanksgiving. Christian McCaffrey carved Seattle like a Butterball turkey by carrying the ball 19 times for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground. The defense harassed Geno Smith and the Seahawks’ offense all game long as they were held to 220 total yards.
The Eagles might not be as dominant as they were last season but that hasn’t stopped them from jumping out to a 10-1 record. Philly defeated the Bills 37-34 in overtime after trailing 17-7 at the half. MVP favorite Jalen Hurts accounted for five total touchdowns, rushing for the game-winning 12-yard score in the extra frame. Between all the trash talk from Deebo Samuel and crying (all from the Niners), this will be a heated battle between two of the NFC’s best.
The Eagles will reluctantly host the 49ers at 1:25 p.m. PT.
Philadelphia is a 3-point home underdog at DraftKings Sportsbook while my picks for Tallysight are show below.
Other matchups on the Week 13 Sunday docket include Chargers at Patriots, Lions at Saints, Falcons at Jets (because who doesn’t enjoy watching Tim Boyle and Desmond Ridder attempt to play quarterback?), Cardinals at Steelers, Colts at Titans, Dolphins at Commanders (yikes Commies), Broncos at Texans and an NFC South barnburner with the Panthers at Buccaneers. On the primetime slate, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs head to Lambeau Field to play the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
