Los Angeles Rams head coach, Sean McVay, was asked to respond to the firing of Los Angeles Chargers head coach, Bradon Staley. McVay praises the former defensive coordinator for the Rams, and comments on how tough the business of the NFL can be. We already have a good article stating that the Rams SHOULD NOT give Staley another look at defensive coordinator. All the points in the piece make sense, but I actually would be open to the Rams giving Staley a shot. What are your thoughts?
I am guessing this topic can be brought up again in the offseason, but it’s hot off the presses right now, so let us know what you think! Or maybe you already have in the article linked above. We can keep the discussion going there too! I know some want to move on from Raheem Morris. I can’t say I totally understand that, but many of you probably know more about this sport than me! Open to any and all thoughts just let me know!
Please comment on whatever you’d like and have a great Saturday! Go Rams! Forget the draft pick, that they’ll probably trade anyways, I want to see our team in the playoffs.
“You want to be there for your friend,” McVay said. “And I also know what a great coach he is and what he’s meant to me, what I’ve learned from him. These are things that are really challenging, and I’ve grown up in the business and there’s a lot of tough things.
“But I know what a great coach he is. I know what I’ve seen from my own eyes and I know that he’s going to respond and he’s got a really bright future.”

“Below, you’ll find the latest Commanders vs. Rams odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. Based on their prices, a $112 wager on our Commanders vs. Rams prediction profits $100 as long as LA is victorious by at least seven points.

(2) Asked Raheem Morris what happened on the three defensive breakdowns that led to three explosive pass TDs. Bad call, then a cloud beater (and OBJ adjustment), and then a few factors with coverage and pressure issues + QB and WR making great play on that brutal third and 17: pic.twitter.com/EvhAx6dQlx— Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) December 14, 2023
“Ron Rivera and his coaches are focusing on the next game and nothing more. The players should do the same considering almost everyone is fighting for their future if Josh Harris’ ownership group hits the reset button as anticipated.
Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Rams was seen as a potential damp squib before the campaign. But from Sean McVay’s standpoint, his team is still fighting for a potential wildcard spot despite many writing them off after trading stars such as All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
A big challenge awaits on SoFi Stadium’s fast track this weekend. Here are four Commanders firmly on the hot seat heading into the clash.

The Washington Commanders opted to release Danny Johnson this week. This is a huge indicator of their preference to hand extended playing time to younger individuals within the secondary over the team’s remaining four games.”
