With the Rams returning home to play the Commanders in a pivotal game to their playoff hopes, which Week 15 Sunday game are you most looking forward to watching?
One matchup Rams faithful will be paying extra attention to is a clash between two NFC teams ahead of LA in the playoff picture. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to play the Green Bay Packers in a game Rams fans would Love to see result in a loss for the green and gold.
The Packers went into the hole that is Metlife Stadium and lost 24-22 to “Tommy Cutlets” and the Giants. Either Green Bay took New York lightly or Tommy DeVito is that clutch as he drove his team down for the game-winning 37-yard field goal. Jordan Love was sloppy as he turned the ball over twice. Although he somewhat made up for his miscues by throwing a touchdown pass to rookie receiver Malik Heath to put his team up by one with 1:33 remaining. When the Packers have to rely on their defense, it rarely does well. Green Bay prevented a win with their prevent defense and allowed DeVito to go 57 yards in eight plays for the stunning win.
By some miracle, the Buccaneers are tied for first in the painfully mediocre NFC South in their first year post-Brady. Last Sunday, Tampa Bay defeated the Falcons 29-25 as Baker Mayfield threw a game-winning 11-yard touchdown to Cade Otton with 31 seconds left. Mayfield threw another scoring pass to Rachaad White while also running one in for himself. Despite only wearing a Rams uniform for five games, LA fans should root for Baker as he goes for the upset at Lambeau Field.
The Packers will host the Buccaneers at 10 a.m. PT.
Green Bay is a 3.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and my picks for Tallysight are shown below.
Other Week 15 games on the Sunday docket include Falcons at Panthers, Bears at Browns, Jets at Dolphins, Giants at Saints, Texans at Titans, Chiefs at Patriots (you won’t like Patrick Mahomes when he’s angry Pats), 49ers at Cardinals, and the Cowboys at Bills. The primetime slate features the Ravens traveling to play the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football.
