Random Ramsdom: The Browns could be without this star player when they see LA

Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 11/28/23

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at Cleveland Browns Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

There is no certainty that Myles Garrett will miss the upcoming game featuring the Los Angeles Rams and the star defensive end’s Cleveland Browns. However there is no guarentee the player will suit up either. On the one hand his missing time would in theory helps the Rams, but on the other hand it would be nice to see if the LA offense can handle a game wrecker like Garrett. The Rams are going to have to play more tough defenses down the stretch like the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. That’s only to name a couple. Iron sharpens iron. I hope Garrett is healthy and can keep pushing for defensive player of the year. It would be a great test for the Rams.

What do you think about the Myles Garrett injury? It seems like he should be alright long term. What about the Browns QB situation? Apparently there are some worries there and Cleveland may be forced to utilizse newly acquired Joe Flacco. We’ll know more as the week goes on.

Either way it should be a tough game as NFL games usually are. Thanks for stopping by and go Rams! Please check out some links below and comment on whatever you’d like! Have a great Tuesday!

Browns DE Myles Garrett ‘day-to-day’ with injured shoulder, may play vs. Rams on Sunday (sports.yahoo)

“Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett appeared to avoid structural damage in his injured shoulder and may be available to play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski provided the update to reporters Monday following further evaluation of the injury sustained on Sunday.

“The shoulder is sore,” Stefanski said. “Feel good about where he’ll be, but day-to-day.”

Who Will Be Starting At Quarterback For Browns Against Rams? (si.com)

“The Browns head man wasn’t ready to make any assumptions though about who his quarterback would be when Cleveland takes on the Rams Sunday.

“I’m gonna let the protocol play out,” Stefanski said in regards to DTR’s status for the week. “We’ll work through all that this week,” Stefanski said. We have P.J. [Walker], we have Joe [Flacco] if Dorian’s not available.

If that does end up being the case there is speculation that the powers that be would turn to newly signed veteran, Flacco to start under center in Thompson-Robinson’s absence. Stefanski stayed mum on the subject, but seemed to hint that the job was DTR’s, if he does clear concussion protocols, as Flacco continues to get up to speed with the offense.”

Rams RB Kyren Williams feeling ‘200 percent’ coming off ankle injury in win over Cardinals (nfl.com)

“The second-year RB generated 204 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 37-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Williams rushed for 143 yards on 16 carries and added six catches for 61 yards and two scores in his first game off injured reserve.

Asked how his ankle felt after the win, Williams quipped:

“How many — 200 yards from scrimmage?” he said, via the team’s official website. “I want to say (I feel) 200 percent this time.”
