Rams vs. Cardinals prop bets: How will Kyren Williams fare in his return?

Cooper Kupp and Kyren Williams combined for over 300 yards the last time they played Arizona. Can they replicate that again?

The Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) are coming off a much-needed win against division rival Seattle. They take on the 2-9 Arizona Cardinals (+2.5) this Sunday who are coming off a tough loss to the Texans. The Rams are current two and a half point underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are some of the prop bets you can find at DraftKings Sportsbook for the game.

Kyren Williams, over/under 57.5 rushing yards

The last time Kyren Williams played against the Arizona Cardinals he ran for 158 yards on 20 carries. Now, he is coming off a high-ankle sprain and that could play a role in a lighter workload for Williams but the Cardinals give up 132.1 yards per game on the ground. If there was a game to kick off Kyren’s ascension back to the top it would be this one.

Williams’ prop is set at 57.5 which he went over in two of the last three games he played after the Rams moved right guard Kevin Dotson into the lineup. I expect Kyren to go over this total in his return back to action against a lesser rushing defense.

Cooper Kupp, over/under 68.5 receiving yards

Kupp has 68 catches for 797 yards and six touchdowns in his all-time career against the Cardinals. The last game he played he went for 148 yards on seven receptions and found the end zone. Currently, Kupp is in the midst of the worst four-game stretch of his career. He’s only had 9 receptions for 109 yards. The last time he looked like the Cooper Kupp we know? It was his explosion and best game of the season against this same Cardinals team.

Kupp’s prop is at 68.5 which is one of the lowest we’ve seen since Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks were on the Rams. This has to be the week Kupp gets back to form, take the over.

Royce Freeman, over/under 26.5 rushing yards

Freeman has 50 carries for 215 yards and a touchdown on the season. He’s played in every game since Kyren Williams went down and he has gone over this total in all four of those games. The sportsbooks aren’t expecting Royce Freeman to play much which is why his total is at 26.5 yards. However, I think he will get enough burn in this one to do it against a bad running defense.

Is Freeman going to go off? Probably not, but you don’t need him to. You just need him to get to 27 yards rushing and I think he can do that against this Cardinals defense and especially with Williams coming off a high-ankle sprain.
