ESPN’s Field Yates was talking about what worries him about Kyren Williams in fantasy football, but at the end of the segment he reveals maybe why the Los Angeles have been waiving Darrell Henderson, and bringing him back. It seems to have to do with how salaries or money is guarenteed in the NFL, and the long story short is the Rams are trying to save any money where they can. Please check out the clip as Yates can explain it better than me. He says that most would not be interested in that information, since it’s a Fantasy Football show, but I think it’s interesting. Real NFL news and fantasy NFL news often go together.

Rams designate Kyren Williams to return from IR (nbcsports)
“Rams running back Kyren Williams is officially on the way back.
Los Angeles announced on Wednesday that the club has designated Williams to return from injured reserve, opening his 21-day practice window.
Williams suffered an ankle sprain during the Rams’ 26-9 victory over Arizona on Oct. 15. He took 20 carries for 158 yards with a touchdown in that contest.”
“Darrell Henderson Jr. is back … again. After waiving the fifth-year running back on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Rams signed him to the practice squad. Sean McVay said it was merely a numbers thing in terms of the reasoning for waiving Henderson, needing to make room for Kyren Williams, who’s returning from injured reserve.
Henderson has played four games for the Rams this season, rushing for 112 yards on 46 attempts with two touchdowns. He’s also caught 10 passes for 103 yards.
It’s expected that Royce Freeman will be the primary backup to Williams, but Henderson’s ability in pass protection could earn him a spot on the game day roster.”

“The Seahawks scored a touchdown on their opening drive, a 14-play, 73-yard possession that ended in an eight-yard pass to DK Metcalf, but did not find the end zone again. And while the Rams’ offense struggled on Sunday, going 2-of-9 on third down, the defense held strong in the second half, allowing three points. Los Angeles took the lead for the first time — and for good — with less than two minutes to go in the game.
“It’s always a team game, but I thought for [the defense] not to be affected by some of the things that we were struggling with and our offense was struggling with as a whole [was big],” McVay said. “They just kept playing. They kept competing. They kept it to a tight game.
“Stop after stop, big play after big play. Just kind of just staying the course when offensively ... we just weren’t having some of the success and the continuity and consistency in terms of moving the ball or coming away with points.”
