What about the 2023 Los Angeles Rams are you thankful for?

Puka Nacua is one reason LA fans should be giving thanks this year

The Los Angeles Rams remain competitive ahead of Thanksgiving which is alone something to be thankful for. LA is currently sitting at the nine seed in the NFC and are two games out of the seventh and final playoff spot in the conference.

While not everything about this season has gone according to plan, Rams faithful should feel hopeful about the direction this organization is going. Again, that is something to be thankful for.

The three-game losing streak entering the bye week put a slight damper on the year. Yet LA came out of their bye week and swept the Seahawks. Los Angeles having a 3-1 record in the NFC West is a genuine blessing and quite unexpected given all the question marks surrounding the team ahead of the 2023 season.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks and feel blessed in the presence of loved ones. If that doesn’t pan out or the in-laws end up annoying the hell out of you, be grateful in having turkey, corn casserole and yams (ICK) at your disposal instead. On this wonderful holiday, I want to give everyone an opportunity to give thanks to anything they please regarding the Los Angeles Rams.

For instance, I’m especially thankful for the rookie class featuring the crown jewel, Puka Nacua. The BYU product is no longer the front-runner for OPOY and that’s perfectly fine. He’s proven to be a highly capable receiver whether or not Cooper Kupp has shared the field with him. I’m also very thankful for other key first-year contributors like Byron Young, Kobie Turner, Steve Avila and Ethan Evans. Each of those youngers are crucial to building a strong foundation in LA and I’m excited to watch their development in the coming seasons.

So before you make a run at the last spoonful of grandma’s homemade mashed potatoes or fight your cousin for a turkey leg, why not give thanks to your favorite football team? Doing so ahead of your annual food coma would be a plus.

After wiping the gravy stain off your most spacious pair of sweatpants, drop what you’re thankful for about the Rams in the comments! Happy Thanksgiving Turf Show Ramily!
