Random Ramsdom: Seahawks CB has priceless reaction to meeting Carson Wentz

‘I’m not trying to be a fangirl right now’

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen almost went crazy for meeting one of his heroes on Sunday, a quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams. No, not Matthew Stafford.

“I’m not trying to be a fangirl right now,” said Woolen when meeting Carson Wentz after the game. Woolen said that Wentz is a “legend”.

Wentz has not played a snap for the Rams yet, but did just get to the team last week. He finished third in MVP voting in 2017 and won a Super Bowl that season with the Eagles, but was on injured reserve during Philly’s playoff run. Wentz has bounced around the league the last few years but apparently has one huge fan left in Seattle, that being Riq Woolen.

BREAKING: Los Angeles Rams Cut Darrell Henderson

NOV 21 HENDERSON CUT The Los Angeles Rams have released running back Darrell Henderson Jr., clearing a spot on the 53-man roster for the return of Kyren Williams from the injured reserve.

Henderson was brought back to L.A. for his second stint with the team after Williams went down with an ankle injury in the Week 6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The 26-year-old played in four games for the Rams before being cut, totaling 112 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 46 carries, as the Rams paired him with Royce Freeman to help fill the void of Williams.

‘One Piece’ and NFL’s Los Angeles Rams team up for special event during game

The most popular manganime and the most prominent football league on the planet come together in a strange and special collaboration. ‘One Piece’ and the NFL will hold a special event during a game, a collaboration between the manga created by Eiichiro Oda and the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, which will take place on Sunday, December 3rd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The game between the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns will unite the NFL with the world of manga and anime. Digital posters throughout SoFi Stadium will introduce ‘One Piece’ to the public, as well as the team’s specially themed website, and special giveaways from the series, such as clear bags or a sports towel, will be given to the first 10,000 attendees at the game. An original video from One Piece will be broadcast during the game, another example of the enormous impact that the manganime world is having in today’s world, and we do not rule out more collaborations between the two worlds. Franchises such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have embraced the spirit of piracy proposed by the series, and others such as the Los Angeles Chargers have made several nods to the anime in the presentation of their off-season calendars.
