NFL Power Rankings are updated after week one and the Los Angeles Rams move up three spots to number three after a convincing win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. The Rams dominated in the 34-14 matchup by attacking the Bears secondary with a well orchestrated game plan. Matthew Stafford had a solid game throwing three touchdowns, zero interceptions, and no lost fumbles. The receiving corp was all over the field with Van Jefferson, Cooper Kupp, and Robert Woods all finding the end zone.

In the updated NFL Power Rankings:

The Buffalo Bills were in third but they loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and dropped all the way to sixth.

The Green Bay Packers were in fourth but took the furthest fall all the way down to 12th after a vastly uncharacteristic outing from Aaron Rodgers. Last seasons MVP threw zero touchdowns and two interceptions on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints who had Jameis Winston at quarterback and he unloaded five touchdowns on the Packers defense.

The Baltimore Ravens were ranked above the Rams at number five but this week they loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in a wild Monday night overtime thriller. They drop two spots to seven.

Only the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are higher on the list than the Rams. The Rams and Bucs meet at SoFi stadium in week three. All four NFC West teams started with a win and are tied for the division but the Rams are the highest ranking NFC West team in the power rankings. Next week LA travels to Indianapolis to play the Colts who are ranked 21st on the list.
