Talk about the game’s finishing act right here

The LA Rams and Chicago Bears have played three quarters so far and a few stars are standing out, while others have yet to really make an appearance. The Rams lead 27-14.

Matthew Stafford’s debut three quarters: 17-of-22, 295 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 148.9 passer rating, 13.4 Y/A.

2-of-2 for 123 yards on post routes.

Van Jefferson has 80 yards on two catches, including a touchdown.

Tyler Higbee has five catches for 68 yards.

Cooper Kupp has five catches for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Kenny Young leads all players with 10 tackles. Jalen Ramsey has seven tackles, two for a loss, and one pass defensed. Justin Hollins is having a solid night, he has seven tackles and a sack. David Long has an interception.

Darrell Henderson had a six-yard run late in the third quarter, doubling his total to 12 yards on seven attempts. The lanes have not been there for Henderson. When will Sony Michel or Jake Funk get their first opportunities this season?

Robert Woods has two catches for 25 yards and a seven-yard run.

Chicago’s offense has scored two touchdowns — one by running back David Montgomery and one by quarterback Justin Fields — but they haven’t been that able to stretch the field in the passing game and that’s clearly holding the Bears back. Andy Dalton has completed 22-of-28 passes but only for 167 yards with an interception. Fields is 2-of-2 for 10 yards and he has that three-yard touchdown run.

Montgomery has 103 yards on 15 carries, he’s been Chicago’s best player.

I wouldn’t worry about the low sack total. Dalton is getting the ball out quick, which doesn’t allow for many sack opportunities.
