Friday was day eight of training camp for the Los Angeles Rams. As reported by Jourdan Rodrique of the Athletic, it was a light day in preparation for the joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. Wednesday was also a veteran rest day for players like Aaron Donald and Andrew Whitworth, so the team should be fresh and ready for Cowboys in Oxnard.
Lighter day today ahead of tomorrow’s practice against the Cowboys…appears Aaron Donald is the first player here today post-AM walkthrough and lunch break.— Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) August 6, 2021
Rookie WR Ben Skowronek returned to the field after being held out of Wednesday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. The seventh round draft pick will be trying to make the team in a WR group that is already full with depth and talent. Skowronek will be one to keep an eye on as he’ll need to continue to make plays with his preseason opportunities.
Looks like Ben Skowronek will be able to participate in some capacity in today’s practice— Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) August 6, 2021

Second year safety Jordan Fuller joins the training camp pick party getting an interception during 11 on 11 drills. Since day one, Jalen Ramsey and Nick Scott have each had interceptions so far against Matthew Stafford. Fuller’s pick occurred against Devlin Hodges who is seen as, at best, QB3.
Jordan Fuller picks off Hodges in 11/11s; bit of a scary collision between Fuller and I think Kiser as they went for the ball but just Fuller just seemed to get the wind knocked out of him.— Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) August 6, 2021
Twos vs ones and vice versa; both backups seem to be getting around the same reps.
