Game day is finally here. Tonight the Los Angeles Rams begin their preseason schedule of games against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.
31 teams that are not named the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been waiting since the end of last season to get a new start after falling short of the ultimate prize. For the LA Rams, it ended after a 10-6 regular season, a win against the Seattle Seahawks in the wildcard round, and finally elimination in Green Bay against the MVP Aaron Rodgers in the divisional round of the playoffs.
There are some things we will look to leave behind from last year, like empty stadiums seats and losses against beatable opponents and our division rivals. But there are some things that we plan on rolling over into this new campaign, starting with the dominance of our defense which proved best in the league with Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey leading the way. The emergence of players like Darious Williams and Jordan Fuller are also bright spots that we will look forward to seeing grow this season.
After another draft focused on mid round picks, the addition of rookies WR Tutu Atwell, LB Ernest Jones, and TE Jacob Harris, the Rams had a good round of mini camps and finally the 10 day training camp that has brought us just one month away from the regular season opener and to tonights reopening of the grandest sports venue in the world. Tonight we go back to SoFi. Tonight, against the Los Angeles Chargers, we ramp up the speed, turn up the noise, and celebrate. Football is back!
Enjoy the game. Let us know what you think in the comments.
