Rookie wide receiver Tutu Atwell maybe jumped the gun when he posted a picture to his social media that portrayed the former Louisville standout autographing a pile of white jerseys. While it’s nothing mind-blowing, the Rams are supposedly adding a clean white variant to their previous pairing of blue and “bone” colored tops.
Paired with their yellow pants, the the white tops will resemble the uniforms that the team wore during the ‘70’s, ‘80’s, and ‘90’s. This still fits the “throwback” quote from Andrew Whitworth that the majority of people took in a slightly different direction.
Nonetheless, it looks like white will be the new thing in the Rams’ carousel of jersey combos and I’m sure there’s a number of fans that are actually quite relieved to know that the bone jerseys are not the team’s sole away uniform. Every team needs a crisp white top and I’m glad the Rams got theirs.
How are you all feeling about the new away jersey? Are you stoked or were you hoping for something a little more “alternate”-esque with the new combination? Let me know below!
