Random Ramsdom: Rams start training camp and prepare for the new season

The long wait through the offseason is finally over. Football is back as the Los Angeles Rams start training camp today.

With a lot of work to do and questions to answer before the season opener on September 12th against the Chicago Bears, LA will fire it up in Irvine California.

Sean McVay will be entering his fifth season as head coach. After three playoff appearances, two division titles, one conference championship, and a spot in Super Bowl LIII, the 34 year old head coach has a new quarterback to lead his team in 2021.

Matthew Stafford enters his 13th season in the NFL but first in Los Angeles. After 12 years as QB of the Detroit Lions, Stafford has made the necessary adjustments to his new city, staff, and teammates, and is focused on leading this team back to the Super Bowl.

Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey return to lead the top ranked defense of 2020. With a few key departures in free agency, one of the main goals of training camp will be to establish replacements for those positions and also for new defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to install his concepts and prepare for another year of defensive dominance.
