9/9 update: On Thursday, September 9th, the Ravens found out that Gus Edwards likely suffered a torn ACL and will miss the year. The news comes after both J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hill suffered season-ending injuries too. Baltimore will turn to practice squad VETERANS Le’Veon Bell and DeVonta Freeman.
9/11 update: The Titans are placing Derrick Henry on injured reserve with a broken foot and have signed Adrian Peterson to replace him on the 53-man roster. The list of FA running back only gets shorter and Todd Gurley remains on it. This could make any RB on the trade market that much more valuable.
Which of these players would interest you the most? Anyone who we should be taking a closer look at for potential Cam Akers replacements?
Obviously there has already been a ton of chatter about Todd Gurley, but he has played poorly for at least the last two seasons and no team has bitten the bullet on giving him a contract. Adrian Peterson is a future first ball Hall of Famer, but can he still play?
Earlier on Tuesday, we wrote about Akers injury, as well as 16 potential trade targets, and why the Rams shouldn’t worry about their Super Bowl odds following the bad news on his Achilles. Curious who is already on the roster after Darrell Henderson? Look here!
