“The Rams are a Super Bowl contender this season.”
That’s how I felt after the LA Rams traded for Matthew Stafford in January, and it’s also how NFL reporter Adam Schein feels, as noted in the most recent episode of his podcast. Schein is confident that with a full offseason for Sean McVay to work with Stafford, and with Stafford to work with his new complement of weapons, the Rams are “the clear best team in the NFC West.”
I agree.
“It’s a Super Bowl move. He’s a rock star.”
Schein would also seem to agree with me that the Rams didn’t have a bad draft and that their second round pick of a speedy wide receiver was not only a good move, it was potentially a steal.
“Tutu Atwell is gonna be a huge key,” said Schein. He also referred to Atwell as a second round “steal,” which is the opposite of the majority of analysts said about the pick.
"Matthew Stafford changes everything. The Rams are a Super Bowl contender this season... he's a rockstar. Don't let wins and losses in Detroit with the rebuilding since 1957 Lions get in the way."
