According to the fine folks over at Over The Cap, the Rams are projected to earn four compensatory picks during next year’s 2022 NFL draft.

The Rams number one-ranked defense took some notable blows during this year’s free agency period and it’s only right that the team gets back those valuable comp picks. According to Over The Cap’s site, the Rams will get an additional fourth-round pick (John Johnson III) and three sixth-rounders (Samson Ebukam, Gerald Everett, and Troy Hill).

Of course, any additional picks through the compensatory formula go a long way in mitigating the negative negatives that stem from not owning a first-round pick for, as of now, an eight-year period.

Sean McVay and Les Snead have recently shown they can find plenty of talent in the later rounds, so these picks have become all the more valuable when looking ahead.

Now for today’s links.
