Former Rams cornerback Marcus Peters appeared on the podcast of former Rams cornerback Aqib Talib on Tuesday and the two didn’t shy away from talking about their exit out of LA in 2019. On the show “Catchin’ Fades with Aqib Talib,” Peters is asked “Why you think our exit was so crazy?”
“I was pissed off ... Fuck them ... That’s how I was feeling and I’m still feeling like that,” answers Peters. His biggest issue not being that he was traded — Les Snead sent him to the Ravens for Kenny Young — but that on the same day the Rams acquired a different cornerback in Jalen Ramsey.
Peters says that even if Ramsey and him are different types of corners, that they still do the same things, and Peters believes maybe he does “even more” than Ramsey.

LA had the number one defense in 2020 though. Could they have done it if Peters had been the star corner instead of Ramsey?
