Rams select EDGE Earnest Brown, adding more talent upfront for Raheem Morris

Brown could potentially fill the void left by Morgan Fox

NCAA Football: Citrus Bowl-Auburn vs Northwestern Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

With the 174th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, the LA Rams went for another player to add to the defensive line in Northwestern’s Earnest Brown IV. He is the second phonetic “Earnest” of the Rams’ draft, joining third round linebacker Ernest Jones.

Wow.

He is the second player with roman numerals, joining fourth round defensive tackle Bobby Brown III.

Unbelievable!

Brown is 6’4, 270 lbs, with long 34.5” arms and he’s described by NFL.com as a “4-3 defensive end with NFL size and power,” making him a potential replacement for Morgan Fox.

“I see pro size and pro potential, but he needs an NFL strength and conditioning program and more work with his hands.” — Scouting director for NFC team
