The 2021 NFL Draft begins with Thursday’s first round festivities in Cleveland. You can watch that on NFL Network, ABC, ESPN, or wherever you choose, I guess. In this post, we’re gonna show you when the Rams pick — and as you know, that isn’t going to happen on Thursday.
But Friday will have Les Snead and Sean McVay on the board for the first time in 2021 with their 57th overall selection in round two. The Rams then pick two more times on Friday, then three times on Saturday. Overall, LA has six picks, but is without their original first and fifth round picks; they will have a third round compensatory pick for the free agent loss of Dante Fowler, Jr. in 2020.
We should also suspect the Rams of looking to trade down. Adding at least one or two more selections will help Snead and McVay fill out the needs on their roster for depth at a number of key positions, including multiple offensive line spots, cornerback, defensive end, linebacker, returner, and special teams.
Here are the Rams 2021 draft picks before any potential trades go down.
- Round 2, pick 57
- Round 3, pick 88
- Round 3, pick 103
- Round 4, pick 141
- Round 6, pick 209
- Round 7, pick 252
