There are at least four teams who’ve shown an immediate interest in safety John Johnson, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports. Those teams are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, and Detroit Lions. It looks increasingly likely that the LA Rams will lose Johnson this offseason, as expected.
Hearing former Rams S John Johnson's free agent market is taking shape. Lions, Eagles, Jags and Browns all showing interest

The Lions make a little bit of sense since general manager Brad Holmes has spent the last four years observing Johnson and played at least a minor role in the team drafting him in 2017. The Browns are looking to upgrade a defense that they hope will match the value of the offense next season. The Jaguars have roughly $73 million in cap space to spend and Johnson could help a young secondary that lacks valuable players aside from C.J. Henderson. The Eagles don’t appear to have much money to spend right now, but they certainly need talent.
The Rams seem to have been preparing for this moment for two years, adding Taylor Rapp and Nick Scott in 2019, then Terrell Burgess, Jordan Fuller, and Juju Hughes in 2020.
