None of our opinions are going to mean a hell of a lot to the Rams braintrust, but it's still extremely fun to play Rams GM and see what you come up with. I use First Pick, which allows you to draft and make trades....you can't trade up, you have to trade down...but for me it's a lot of fun, and if you can't get out much and have nothing to do, it's a great way to kill time AND find out about players who are going to be in the draft.
In this draft, I traded down a couple times to add a few more 3rd rounders. I think I filled all the Rams' needs...at least the ones I see them having.
Round 2 Pick 31 (K.C.): Josh Myers, C/OG, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 17 (MIA): Dylan Moses, ILB/OLB, Alabama (A+)
Round 3 Pick 35 (DAL): Chris Rumph II, DE/OLB, Duke (A+)
Round 3 Pick 37 (COMP): Quinn Meinerz, OG, Wisconsin-Whitewater (A+)
Round 3 Pick 39 (COMP): Trey Sermon, RB, Ohio State (A+)
Round 4 Pick 38 (MINN): Ihmir Smith-Marsette, WR, Iowa (A+)
Round 6 Pick 15 (MINN): Camryn Bynum, CB, California (A+)
Round 6 Pick 25: Brenden Jaimes, OT, Nebraska (A+)
Round 7 Pick 25: T.J. Vasher, WR, Texas Tech (A+)
I got them a starting C, a starting edge rusher, a starting G, a possible starting ILB if he can recover from his injury, a running back who can run, block, catch, and break tackles and would be a perfect replacement for Malcolm Brown, a blazing fast taller WR who can also return kicks and punts, a CB with some size, a tackle prospect from a school who usually supplies the NFL with good linemen, and a red zone receiver with insane hands and size (6'6" 200 4.5 40).
Let's see some more mock drafts. I'm extremely interested in everybody's opinions.
