Even after drafting a running back on day two of the past two drafts, the Rams continue to do their work on the position in regards to this year’s class.
According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Rams were among a plethora of teams to have met with Louisville running back Javian Hawkins.

Hawkins rushed for a single-szn school record 1,525 yards in 2019. He can catch the ball too.
The 5’9, 196-pound Hawkins is heading to the NFL Draft after two productive and efficient seasons as a starter for the Cardinal that also included a school-record 1,525 rushing yards accumulated in 2019. In the eight games he played in prior to opting out of 2020, Hawkins posted 822 yards and seven touchdowns with a yards-per-carry average of 6.2, up from 5.8 in 2019.
Hawkins was a Second-Team All-ACC selection in 2019 as a redshirt freshman.
