The rollercoaster ride of faith in the Los Angeles Rams is in full effect. According to the most recent polls, 72 percent of SB Nation Reacts users now believe the Rams are on the right track. All it took was a 37-7 pummeling of the now 2-10 Jacksonville Jaguars.

Maybe it wasn’t the fact that the victory was over Jacksonville. Perhaps it was the way LA won. The game plan against the Jaguars was predicated on being much more physical than the Rams have been as of late. There were more heavy personnel packages including extra offensive linemen and tight ends.
Those heavy packages resulted in a ground-and-pound approach spear-headed by running back Sony Michel. In a recent article published at the Los Angeles Times, Michel stated he did not anticipate he would get that many opportunities.
“I didn’t really think about them putting it on me,” Michel said. “I just kind of thought any opportunities that I get, I’m going to try and take advantage of it. And opportunities just kept coming my way.”
Michel finished the game with 121 rushing yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.
Whether the formula remains the same against the Arizona Cardinals will be unveiled Monday night, as the Rams travel to the desert. As of now, DraftKings Sportsbook sees the Rams as 2.5-point road underdogs. They also expect this to contest to be the second highest scoring game of the week, with an over/under set at 51 points.
The way the Rams’ season has played out to this point has made this game the most important of the season. A win re-solidifies the Rams as a team that no one will want to play in the post season. A loss all but confirms that LA will have to fight an uphill battle to compete for a chance to play in Super Bowl 56, hosted in SoFi Stadium.
