A.J. Brown injury update: Titans WR might also miss Rams game, joining Derrick Henry

The Tennessee Titans will already be short-handed on Sunday Night Football against the LA Rams without elite running back Derrick Henry, but the news got worse for the AFC’s top-seeded team on Friday: star wide receiver A.J. Brown was held out of practice with a knee injury and is questionable to play in two days.

The Titans are already unsure if Julio Jones will be forced to miss another game, potentially leaving Tennessee extremely thin at wide receiver.

The Titans faced a similar issue in Week 4, when Jones and Brown were both ruled out against the New York Jets. The Jets won that game in overtime and Ryan Tannehill was sacked seven times. That was with Derrick Henry rushing for 157 yards on 33 carries.

This Sunday, it’s going to be Adrian Peterson at running back despite the veteran not being with ANY NFL team this year until he signed with Tennessee on Monday.

The Rams got bad news with Sebastian Joseph-Day going out for a significant period of time due to a torn pec, but the Titans have a lot to figure out with their offense over the next 48 hours.
