Von Miller is now a Los Angeles Ram after being traded from the Denver Broncos and will be lining up alongside Aaron Donald and Leonard Floyd with Jalen Ramsey leading the secondary. Miller will join the 7-1 Rams for the remainder of the regular season and likely for postseason play. The remaining quarterbacks that this group will be pressuring on the regular season late include Ryan Tannehill, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Aaron Rodgers.
Here’s a look at the teams that will line up as Miller’s first opponents as a Ram.
The Titans are 6-2 and have given up 24 sacks this season so far which ranks as the fourth most in the league going into the week nine match up. Taylor Lewan and David Quessenberry are the starting tackles. Lewan is an eight year veteran who has been selected to the pro bowl 3 times. Tannehill will likely be looking to get the ball out quickly in order to stay upright and give his offense some looks.
The 49ers are 3-4 and have only given up 11 sacks so far this season which ranks as fourth best in the league. Trent Williams and Mike McGlinchey start at the tackles. Williams is an 11 year vet and McGlinchey is in his fourth year. They have no pro bowl selections between them.
The 7-1 Packers have given up 18 sacks so far in the first eight games and will serve as the biggest test for the new Rams defense with Rodgers being among the best ever at getting the ball off quickly and effectively especially with Davante Adams at his disposal. Elgton Jenkins and Billy Turner are the starting tackles. Jenkins is in his third season and was selected to his first pro bowl last season.
