The 7-1 Los Angeles Rams opened as 6-point favorites at home against the 6-2 Tennessee Titans in Week 9, according to DraftKings Sportbook. After covering the spread against the Houston Texans this Sunday the Rams will face a team with a winning record for the first time since Week 4 when they lost to the Arizona Cardinals.
The Titans are coming off an exciting overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts that saw two touchdowns in overtime. With 5:48 left in the game Kevin Byard came away with an interception that set Tennessee up with the game winning kick from backup kicker Randy Bullock. Though Derrick Henry finished that game with just 68 yards on 28 attempts Ryan Tannehill found A.J. Brown open all day long. Brown finished the game with 155 yards receiving and one touchdown on 11 attempts.
Matthew Stafford, who had three touchdowns against the Texans, has looked like an MVP candidate all season long and has a chance to continue to show his skillset for a national audience on Sunday. Cooper Kupp is putting up historical numbers and as of now leads the league in every meaningful receiving stat. Against the Texans, Kupp finished the game with 115 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Darrell Henderson is also coming off his best game of the season after averaging 6.4 yards per carry that was good for 90 yards on the day.
With both teams having impressive wins on the season Sunday night’s matchup at Los Angeles will be a must-see next week. Can the Rams win by a touchdown or more?
