The Los Angeles Rams are 6-1 and are up against the Houston Texans who are 1-6. The Rams are on a three game win streak after taking their only loss this season to the Arizona Cardinals. Last week the Rams beat the winless Detroit Lions 28-19 at SoFi Stadium and are now looking for their seventh win and to maintain their perfect road record.
Featured in this game for the Rams is Matthew Stafford who threw his 300th touchdown in Week 7 and will throw his 20th of the season with his first scoring pass of the game. Cooper Kupp enters the game leading the league in all three categories, receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
Inactive for LA in this game is most notably tackle Andrew Whitworth, defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day. Also not playing in this game for the Rams is linebacker Kenny Young who got traded to the Denver Broncos and receiver DeSean Jackson who is said to be on the trade block. Rookie linebacker Earnest Jones will start in place of Young, Joseph Noteboom in place of Whitworth, and Greg Gaines will play for Joseph Day.
On the Texans, quarterback Davis Mills will start with Tyrod Taylor still unavailable. Offensive tackle Justin Britt is questionable and running back Mark Ingram will not play due to being traded to the New Orleans Saints.
The Rams have a chance to display dominance over a team that has struggled to find competitive consistency yet this season, a chance to play convincingly and prove that they still belong in the conversation of who is the best team in the NFC.
