The Los Angeles Rams made the New York Giants look puny in a 38-11 win on Sunday. While the 49ers were off this week, the rest of the division was in action as the Cardinals blew out the Browns and the Seahawks went into overtime in Geno Smith’s first start in place of Russell Wilson.

Cleveland lays a big Brown in home loss to Cardinals
No Kliff Kingsbury, no problem as the Cardinals absolutely destroyed the Brownies in their own stadium. Kingsbury was out for the game after testing positive for COVID-19, However, that didn’t faze the team as Kyler Murray continues to put on a show this season, which is only becoming a weekly occurrence anymore.

Kyler Murray matched his career high w 4 TD passes, had no turnovers, posted 3rd best passer rating of his career (129.0) & led Cardinals to a 37-14 win to improve to 6-0 pic.twitter.com/JlY7JmsEj5
Murray added to his MVP chase by throwing four more touchdowns, bringing his yearly total to 14 passing touchdowns. Kyler was extremely efficient through the air going 20-of-30 for 229 yards. This touchdown dime to wide receiver Christian Kirk started the bleeding for Cleveland:

The touchdown was one of Kirk’s five receptions on the day, for 75 yards. A.J. Green added to his bounce-back campaign for Arizona while snaring five pigskins for 79 yards and third touchdown grab of the young season off a drop in the bucket from Murray:

DeAndre Hopkins decided to get in on the scoring party and added further misery to Texans fans. Hopkins snagged three catches, with two of them going for touchdowns. His first one cooked the Browns defense so hard, he might’ve just inadvertently created a new menu item to add to the city’s famous cuisine:

It’s scary to think this is what the Cardinals can do when shorthanded. What are they going to be like with the newly-acquired Zach Ertz in the fold? Sweet baby Jesus, did anyone else feel a shiver shooting down their spine?
Next Week: The Redbirds return home to face the Houston Texans in what is sure to be a revenge game for both Hopkins and J.J. Watt. It wouldn’t be shocking if Hopkins had seven touchdown catches and Watt had 10 sacks against their former team. After all, revenge is a dish best served cold. Speaking of cold, there’s that darn chill again!
Pittsburgh Steels a win from Seattle in first post-Wilson game
Before I cover the Seahawks 23-20 overtime loss to the Steelers, I have some urgent news to cover first. I’m going to start off by talking about Jamal Adams who became quite the meme as the game against the Steelers was off and running. Adams used his Sunday Night Football intro to tell the world:
"Jamal Adams. I'm the best in the NATION." @Prez

Well yes, but actually no. If you can read the fine print, Pro Football Focus has Adams ranked 62 out of 85 players at his position. I honestly want whatever he’s smoking as I can always use the confidence boost. Adams’ boost is even more depressing when seeing his “impact” in last night’s game and ever since he joined the Seahawks:
The #Seahawks are now 2-4. The #Jets own their first-round pick.
— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) October 18, 2021
They own that pick after trading Seattle Jamal Adams. Adams had a potential game-changing interception bounce off his face.
He has 0 INTs since the Seahawks acquired him. He has 0 sacks this year.
Perhaps he meant he was the best in the nation at fleecing organizations out of their money and draft capital. Okay Jamal, I understand it now and I’m fully behind it. I hope he publishes a book so I can learn his many scamming methods.
Moving on, this week was about backup quarterback Geno Smith, making his first start for the Hawks in place of the injured Russell Wilson. Smith actually performed reasonably well in his first game in nearly four years. He went 23-of-32 for 209 yards and a touchdown, finishing with a 99.6 passer rating.
Now, if you’ve ever watched Geno Smith before, you’d know that bad moments with him are usually a play or two away. That’s pretty much what happened in overtime when T.J. Watt stripped him deep in their own territory, essentially Steeling the game for Pittsburgh.
THAT’S WHY YOU PAY TJ WATT

Lost in all this was that running back Alex Collins had himself a game to remember. Collins rushed the ball down Pitt’s throats, running 20 times for 101 yards and this touchdown:

If only he was available in my fantasy league this week. I sorely could’ve used the help at the position. There’s always next week am I right?
Next Week: The Seahawks return home for a Monday Night Football showing against the Saints. This game could literally go either way as the Saints either look really good or make fans shake their heads in astonishment at their stupidity.
49ers were on their bye week
Next Week: San Francisco will stay home to host the Colts on Sunday Night Football. It’s unclear whether Niners rookie Trey Lance will be starting this game. Either way, he should be taking notes on how not to become like his other North Dakota State counterpart. That fool Carson Wentz twisted both his ankles for being a knucklehead so Lance should do what he can to not follow his lead.
