Rams-Giants: INSTANT REACTION

Sean McVay was upset with the offense after a 38-11 win; was he right to call out his team this week?

NFL: Los Angeles Rams at New York Giants Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The LA Rams are 5-1!!! The Rams destructed Daniel Jones and the New York Giants on Sunday, winning 38-11 and improving to a 5-1 record on the season. Head coach Sean McVay obviously hopes to make that 6-1 with a win over his former quarterback next week (the Rams host the winless Lions) but he was not happy with his team following the easy win.

McVay was unhappy with his own playcalling decisions early in the game and with execution that failed to make LA’s job easier prior to a 28-0 second quarter.

To talk about whether or not we agree with McVay, Blane “Fiasco” Dydasco and I jumped on another INSTANT REACTION podcast to talk about everything that happened this week — and trust me, A LOT happened, including Matthew Stafford’s eye-popping stats, Cooper Kupp and Taylor Rapp’s historic days, and a defensive performance that resulted in four takeaways from the Giants.
