With the Rams and Seahawks playing to a stalemate halfway through the second quarter, cornerback Darious Williams couldn’t have a read a screen pass any better as he bolted in front of a Russell Wilson pass to receiver D.K. Metcalf and proceeded to take the interception back 47 yards for the pick-six.

The splash play led to the first touchdown between either team and helped push the Rams in front with a score of 10-3.

It had been a tough outing for Metcalf up to this point and the play was certainly an attempt to get the ball in the hands of Seattle’s most-explosive player. Unfortunately for the ‘Hawks, the Rams were expecting it.

The interception was Williams’ fifth of the season, adding to his already team-high four interceptions during the regular season. On the year, the third-year corner also has 44 total tackles, 14 pass breakups, and a tackle-for-loss.
