Random Ramsdom: McVay won’t name starting QB ahead of game day

So far this week, fans have been left to speculate whether or not they’ll get to see Jared Goff back on the field this weekend to take on the Seahawks or if the team will be forced to trot out John Wolford once again.

Well, if you thought we’d get that sweet piece of information sometime this week, guess again.

Sean McVay made it known on Tuesday during his press conference that he will not be answering the question of who will start for the Rams at quarterback this week. Goff reportedly was able to get some snaps in during Tuesday’s practice, so that’s good news. However, game day will be roughly 12 days removed from having surgery on his thumb, so expectations must be tempered.

In my heart of hearts, I believe he suits up and gives it a shot. Whether he actually finishes the game or not will be something we’ll have to wait and see for.

Now for today’s links.
