On Sunday afternoon, NFL Network’s Steve Wyche reported that cornerbacks coach Aubrey Pleasant is interviewing to become the Lions’ new secondary coach under new head coach Dan Campbell. New Lions general manager Brad Holmes has been showing no second thoughts about poaching talent from his former team, especially if he believes it gives his new club the best chance for success going forward.
In his four years with the Rams, Pleasant played a vital role in the development of young corners Troy Hill and Darious Williams, both of which combined for eight interceptions and four defensive touchdowns (including the playoffs) during the 2020 season.
