Los Angeles Rams projected 2021 compensatory picks

When will the Rams be on the board in 2021?

Based on the seasons they just had, one might wonder why the NFL doesn’t compensate the Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders for signing Dante Fowler and Cory Littleton last year, rather than the Los Angeles Rams. But that is the way that it works!

The Rams lost Fowler to the Falcons on a deal that paid him $15 million per year and Littleton to the Raiders on a deal that paid him $11.75 million annually, and those moves could result in third and fourth round comp picks in 2021, respectively. By OvertheCap.com’s projections, the pick for Fowler would be the final third round comp pick awarded by the NFL this year.

These are not the officially rewarded picks, only a projection.

Los Angeles is also expected to get a third round compensatory pick in both 2021 and 2022 because the Detroit Lions hired former front office exec Brad Holmes to be their next general manager.

Rams projected 2021 draft picks:

  • 2nd round, 57th overall
  • 3rd round, 88th overall
  • Third round comp (Fowler)
  • Third round comp (Holmes)
  • Fourth round comp (Littleton)
  • 6th round, 183rd overall
  • 7th round, 215th overall
