The Los Angeles Rams know that Aaron Donald will be ready for Saturday’s game against the Green Bay Packers — Donald says he’s in “no pain” with his recently injured ribs — but which players may not be available to them? Head coach Sean McVay added no insight into who will start at quarterback, but John Wolford was held out of practice on Wednesday with his neck injury and Jared Goff was a full participant.
It would sure look as of Thursday morning that Goff will be the starter, given his experience and the fact that he’s able to practice.
Also not able to practice on Wednesday was receiver Cooper Kupp, who left last Saturday’s win over the Seattle Seahawks with a knee injury. The expectation has been the Kupp will be available this weekend though that may not be clear until designations are given out later on Thursday.
Left tackle Andrew Whitworth was limited on Wednesday.
The Rams play the Packers on Saturday at 1:40 PM PT.
