The Los Angeles Rams cut down to a 52-man roster, then made it 53 by adding linebacker Justin Hollins from the Denver Broncos on Sunday. That sets things (for now) for Week 1, but the Rams also have a 16-man practice squad this year, which can now include veterans. The Rams aren’t really carrying many veterans there however, but do have a player like Donte Deayon, whose been in the league since 2016.
It’s not quite as long as Josh McCown, the longtime QB signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on Sunday.
For now, the Rams have announced 15 players to the practice squad. Here they are to open the 2020 season:
QB Bryce Perkins
LB Christian Rozeboom
LB Derrick Moncrief
CB Donte Deayon
LB Daniel Bituli
TE Kendall Blanton
C Cohl Cabral
DT Marquise Copeland
OL Jamil Demby
