The LA Rams can now keep 16 players on their practice squad, including six veterans. More than ever, the practice squad is an extension of the 53-man roster, which includes that up to two can be activated for a gameday roster depending on the team’s needs that week given the extenuating circumstances we’re all facing.
Gameday rosters have been increased from 46 to 47, but can go up to 48 if the extra activated player is an offensive lineman.
We’ll keep track of which players are being signed to the practice squad here but you can expect it to be a lot of the names who were released this weekend. The Rams and other teams have a tougher job than ever in evaluating young talent at other stops since there was no preseason.
UPDATE: The Rams announced they signed 15 players to their practice squad.. They can add one more.

Players added to practice squad or rumored to be added:
Christian Rozeboom, LB
Undrafted free agent ILB Christian Rozeboom is still getting inquiries from other teams, but for now has cleared waivers and will re-sign with the Rams’ practice squad, per source.

Bryce Perkins, QB
Quarterback Bryce Perkins is re-signing with the Rams’ practice squad, per source. Sean McVay and Jared Goff have spoken really highly of the impression he has made in such a short time. Next spring QB2 competition will be interesting if they can hang onto him for that long.

Well holy fudging fudge - linebacker Clay Johnston is set to join the Carolina Panthers practice squad, whose staff include many of his former Baylor coaches and also his father, who runs the new strength program.
