Roster cuts are already happenings at LA Rams’ headquarters and around the NFL. It is going to be a crazy couple of days with the 53-man roster cut-down deadline looming at 1 p.m. PT Saturday.
But don’t fret, we have you covered for all Rams’ roster news right here. We will also add pertinent NFL cuts that may affect the Rams,
To get started, it appears we have clarity on the Ram’s kicking situation:

8:18 AM: The Rams are waiving cornerback Donte Deayon and linebacker Clay Johnston
#Rams CB Donte Deayon, whose energetic personality has been featured in Hard Knocks, will be waived today, source says. Possible addition to the practice squad if he clears.

Friday, Sept. 4
12:59 p.m.: The Broncos cut starting inside linebacker Todd Davis. He played for new Rams’ defensive coordinator Brandon Staley last year and the Rams have a need at inside linebacker. This is a BIG fit.
Another cutdown surprise: The #Broncos have released ILB Todd Davis, source said.

Six seasons in Denver, four as a starter. Davis had dealt with injuries in camp the past two years. But a productive veteran now available.
12:52 p.m.: The Rams cut 17 players Friday afternoon. They have 10 more cuts to make. There weren’t a ton of surprises in this chunk of cuts. Some of these players will likely be part of the 16-player practice squad.
10 more cuts by tomorrow's deadline for the Rams.

Pending those, I'd say what jumps out at me right away is Anchrum leapfrogging over Demby. And, more tenured guys can still make the practice squad this year. https://t.co/yKDnpYJrSU
9:48 a.m.: It looks like rookie Sam Sloman is the Rams’ new kicker.
It appears the #Rams' three-way kicker derby is over: They're expected to go with rookie seventh-round pick Sam Sloman, per sources. Sloman -- from Sean McVay's alma mater, Miami (Ohio) -- had been competing with former CFL all-star Lirim Hajrullahu and Austin MacGinnis.
