With eight minutes left in the third quarter, the Rams faced a 28-3 deficit after a touchdown pass from Bills quarterback Josh Allen to wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Over the next 15 minutes of play, the Rams went on to score 29-straight points in what almost culminated in a sensational comeback attempt before the Bills scored a go-ahead touchdown with 15 seconds remaining to hold on for the 35-32 victory.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff finished with a pair of touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods on 22-of-31 passing for 309 yards. Running back Darrell Henderson received the bulk of the work on the ground with rookie Cam Akers out and veteran Malcolm Brown nursing a broken pinky, although he did suit up.

Kupp, Goff’s favorite target on the day, finished with 107 receiving yards on nine catches with the lone score.

The Rams’ final touchdown was set up by a miraculous strip-sack by defensive tackle Aaron Donald, one in which he also recovered, himself.

Allen finished with five total touchdowns for the Bills, with four through the air and one on the ground.

The Rams return to SoFi Stadium next Sunday to face off against the New York Giants at 1:05pm.
